I spent many years in office administration and only changed direction into Montessori teaching when I became a parent. It’s a joy to watch a young child explore an object in every way possible to see how it works and once they figure it out they can put it to use and build on their skills. Montessori philosophy is practical along with utilizing all the child’s senses to understand the world around them. This allows the child the independence to explore and master skills at their own pace which creates a solid foundation for growth.

 

I am married and have one son. I love to spend time with my family, hiking, camping, traveling and reading books.
